Halo Reach - Milling Machines

 

- The vert/texture budget for the level these are in was very strict, so these had to be super low poly... :(.

 

- The model is 5,738 verts in-game, after smoothing group/UV Splits/Shaders.

 

- HighPoly model(S) done in 3DS Max 2010 64bit

 

- I decided to make some design changes on this, as the front was eating up alot of verts.

 

- The model is 4,849 verts in-game, after smoothing group/UV Splits/Shaders.

 

 

 

-Both milling machines had to share the same 512x512 map, and I used 1 other tiling texture for the rest of the model, that was already loaded in the level.
